Job description

YOUR TASKS:

  • Head of service in the hydrogen division, development of innovative industrial services
  • Development, creation and implementation of efficient internal and external service processes\
  • Recruiting and training service employees and defining clear responsibilities and targets
  • Development of service contracts and digital services
  • Implementing industrial and digital service innovations
  • Building strategic partnerships with external service providers and suppliers to expand the service offering and optimise the use of resources
  • Identifying opportunities to continuously improve services by analysing product performance and customer feedback 
  • Setting and monitoring service quality standards to ensure that all service activities meet the highest quality requirements
  • Organising training and development programmes for service personnel to ensure they have the latest technical skills and knowledge
  • Customer relationship management with existing and new customers
  • Preparing and monitoring the service budget, identifying potential savings and efficient use of resources to maximise profitability
  • Definition and creation of contract and offer templates, as well as calculations and business plans
  • Working with sales to develop sales strategies for services to increase sales and win new customers
  • Working closely with management to develop and implement long-term growth strategies
  • Negotiate and manage service contracts and solutions, including contract renewals, amendments and cancellations to ensure contract terms are met and customer relationships are strengthened
  • Continuously conduct market analyses and competitive intelligence to identify trends, understand customer needs and recognise growth opportunities for the service business
  • Building and leading a competent and motivated service team
  • Responsibility for the development and implementation of service processes, service contracts and digital services
  • Defining workflows and business plans in the service area.

Job requirements

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a related field
  • Several years of experience in a managerial role in the service sector, ideally in the industrial or plant engineering sector
  • Sound knowledge of electrolysis systems or comparable technical systems
  • Leadership skills and experience in managing employees
  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer orientation
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to understand and optimise complex processes
  • Experience in the development of service contracts and digital services an advantage
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English
  • Experience in growth and scaling companies
  • International mindset and ability to work in a team
  • Proven track record of outstanding performance in the past
  • The role reports to a Managing Director
