Job description

YOUR TASKS:

  • The main task in this function is the team-based execution and monitoring of inspection, maintenance and repair measures, as well as the commissioning of process engineering plants and processes.
  • You will search for and rectify faults in the event of plant failures, evaluate and analyze fault and error messages.
  • Furthermore, you will set up the plants you are in charge of and parameterize them in coordination with the engineering and process engineering department.
  • You will be responsible for the preparation of technical reports and documentation as well as for customer training.
  • You will also carry out internal and external acceptance tests.
  • In addition, you will support the sales team in the area of service contracts and system sales.
  • For support you are connected on-site via augmented reality glasses with the technology department.
  • The creation of service reports is paperless via app-based maintenance software.
  • You will bring a correspondingly high willingness to travel across Europe.
  • You will report directly to the VP Service & Business Development.

Job requirements

YOUR PROFILE:

  • To be able to work successfully in this position, you will ideally have professional experience as a service technician in customer service and, in this context, at least basic knowledge of electronics and mechanics and an associated interest in systems relating to hydrogen. An underlying training as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician or precision mechanic certainly provides a good basis here.
  • However, much more important than the specific training background is your practical experience in a comparable environment as well as your work attitude: You go through the day effectively and self-organised, with a high level of cost orientation and flexibility. Your unconditional ability to work in a team internally and an absolutely positive appearance externally ensure that not only you, but also colleagues and customers enjoy working together.
  • You take an analytical approach to solving daily tasks. Since IT skills are also important, you will bring hardware and software knowledge (Windows, Microsoft Office) with you.
  • The highest degree of reliability and loyalty is a matter of course for you as the "brand ambassador". Furthermore, you enjoy helping to shape developments at your employer.
  • Very good German and good English skills round off your profile. You also have a class B driving licence. Various locations between Goslar and an airport can be described as an ideal place to live.
