Remote Service Technician in the hydrogen sector (m/f/d)

Job description

YOUR TASKS:

  • You will be responsible for remote support for our highly complex systems

  • You will support our automation systems (PLC, visualisation) for our customers worldwide via remote maintenance

  • As the technical contact person, you will receive error messages from our end customers and carry out error analyses/diagnoses and troubleshooting independently

  • You will also be responsible for documenting service cases in our ticket system and maintaining a knowledge database.

  • You have a degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering/process engineering, control engineering (or comparable qualification) and ideally have some experience in remote support for complex systems

  • (Very) good written and spoken English skills

  • You are open to on-call duties and shift work. Usual working hours are daily from 8 am to 10 pm.

  • Working from home, occasional business trips to the production site and to construction sites. High presence in Goslar required during the familiarisation period

  • Hydrogen experience

  • You communicate with our customers by telephone, e-mail, in German and also in English.

  • With your knowledge, you can solve many questions and tasks independently, and you also work closely with our engineering teams.

  • Even escalations do not upset you: you communicate confidently even in challenging situations and ensure customer satisfaction by solving problems directly or providing solutions after consultation with the specialist departments.
