Job description
In order to strengthen our young team, we are looking for a highly qualified Automation Project Engineer for our hydrogen electrolysis plants who is enthusiastic about innovative automation systems. In this exciting role you will be responsible for the successful implementation and commissioning of our hydrogen systems. If you are a hands-on Project Engineer with PLC programming and practical hardware experience, you will feel at home in this role. We are looking for candidates for both product development and project-related tasks at our site in Goslar and onsite supporting our European customers. A demonstrable understanding of process engineering, measurement and test engineering and process technology is also a great advantage for this role
YOUR TASKS:
Working closely with the project team to fulfil technical requirements and specifications
Configuration, programming and integration of control, regulation and automation systems
Development of HMI concepts and process masks based on Siemens
Design of hardware components
Interface programming and connection of MES/ERP systems
Ensuring compliance with safety standards, regulations and quality guidelines relating to automation technology
Pre-commissioning in the plant, as well as preparation and support of the FAT
Carrying out the commissioning of hydrogen electrolysis plants at home and abroad
Carrying out tests, troubleshooting and optimising plant performance during commissioning
Carrying out customer training, also on site
Documentation of the individual commissioning processes, preparation of reports and technical documentation
Technical support for the sales department
Job requirements
YOUR PROFILE:
An Engineering Degree in electrical engineering, automation technology or a similar field and can demonstrate relevent experienc
Commissioning experience in machine/plant construction is highly advantageous
A very good knowledge of programming Siemens S7/PCS7; high-level language programming (e.g. in C); Scada systems; databases, computer technology, cloud solutions; network technology
Knowledge of electrical drive technology and safety technology is desirable
You must be familiar with MS Office and the process of project management
You are a strong communicator, technically innovative and able to work under pressure
A very good command of spoken and written English & German (Minimum level CEFR B2)
In addition to your strong communication skills and your sense of responsibility you are willing to travel (national and international travel up to a maximum of 30% may occur. Max duration 3 weeks)
